IH-526Lod – 19oz Left Hand Twill Type III Modified Denim Jacket – Indigo Overdyed Black

This overdyed version of the 19oz Left Hand Twill Type III Denim Jacket was made for the true denim jacket adventurer, a piece that you could take to the grave. This overdyed version takes the original rigid and sturdy selvedge denim, and gives it a proper black sulphur overdye that darkens it considerably to a very deep black-indigo. The overdye process softens it to some degree, but make no mistake that this is still a heavy duty denim jacket. This 19oz “lefty” denim has all the characteristics needed to produce some incredible fades and whiskering. All it needs is a formidable wearer to take up the challenge.

Note: The overdyed version runs smaller than the IH-526L indigo version. We generally recommend taking your typical Iron Heart’s shirt/flannel size (one up from your American brand size) for a slim yet comfortable fit that will allow you some room to layer moderately. This denim is unsanforized but once-washed, so minimal shrinkage expected. Sizes are tagged by numbers, with 36 corresponding to S, 38/M, 40/L, and so on.

Model: 6’0” and 175 lbs wearing size 40/L (one size up from his typical American brand size) for a slim yet comfortable fit. The jacket currently looks a bit large, but likely is due to it still being quite raw. With a soak/wash and some wear, the jacket should drape better.
